Production
Blue Wood Films LLC is now in its seventh year of producing features and documentaries. The founder and President Oliver Tuthill and his team are working on promoting their newest feature The Right to Bear Arms starring John Savage (The Deer Hunter), Lionel Flynn and Tara Walker (Film Geek) which was picked up for representation by Circle Road Films out of Los Angeles. Tim Rhys of MovieMaker Magazine watched the film and said, “Tuthill’s gutsy direction and knack for pulling standout performances from his young cast makes this an entertaining genre piece. John Savage is at the top of his game.” Tuthill’s newest feature documentary Questions for Crazy Horse: Hypothetical Conversations with the strange Warrior of the Oglala Lakota featuring Russell Means (Last of the Mohicans) has now finished post after four years. It is now available for North American and foreign distribution. He is currently in development on his historical drama The Nightmares of Constantine the Great based on his play of the same name that he directed and produced at the Erickson Theater off Broadway in Seattle in 2008.
